The multi-purpose Alltel Arena in Little Rock, Ar opened in October 1999. The arena is really a host to the lots of events, sporting and otherwise. Industry events, concerts, conventions, auto racing, wrestling, rodeos, and circuses - the arena has hosted these. Instrumental in designing the arena were the Civic Center Design Team (CCDT) composing of  Burt Taggart & Associates, Architects/Engineers, The Wilcox Group, Garver & Garver Engineering, and Rosser International of Atlanta.   Costing $83 million to enhance, contributions were created by the neighborhood, State, and personal entities. North dakota contributed $20 million and sources contributed $17 million. A $7 million contribution, with the naming rights of this arena,mac brushes, was created by way of the Alltel Corporation, within Little Rock.
